Join the Minnesota Companion Rabbit Society as a Bunny Yoga Coordinator and lead the charge in creating unique and delightful experiences by recruiting volunteers to bring their bunnies to our events. Utilize your organizational and communication skills to connect with local community education programs and yoga studios, fostering a sense of community. Your role involves overseeing the logistics of the yoga sessions, ensuring they run seamlessly on weekends, and contributing to the overall success of the events. No yoga experience is necessary – just a passion for bunnies and a drive to organize memorable gatherings.

Responsibilities:

  • Recruit MCRS volunteers to bring their foster bunnies and/or owned rabbits to participate in bunny yoga events.

  • Connect with local community education programs and local yoga studios to promote and organize bunny yoga events.

  • Be present at the yoga sessions or coordinate with another individual to ensure smooth event management. Sessions are usually held on weekends in the morning or afternoon.

  • Assist with the set-up and clean-up of litter pans, hay, and fleeces before and after bunny yoga events.

  • Ensure that supplies are washed and laundered in between events to maintain cleanliness and hygiene.

  • Demonstrate organizational skills to efficiently manage the logistics of bunny yoga events.

  • Direct the Bunny Yoga Assistant as needed

Qualifications/Experience:

  • Excellent organizational skills.

  • Effective scheduling abilities.

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.

  • Attention to detail in maintaining a clean and organized environment.

  • Ability to observe and redirect bunny behavior during events.

  • No yoga experience necessary!
